Author Guidelines

General Comments

Manuscript should be submitted for review in any computer readable and editable form in a Camera Ready format with all figures and tables placed within the text near their first reference. The lines and pages should be numbered and the margins wide enough to accommodate review comments; although, the reviewers are expected to review the manuscript in a format that resembles the final appearance of the published manuscript.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

1. Authors grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.

1. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees.

Submission Fee for the Detection of Disingenuous Content: 20.00 (USD)
To prevent fraudulent and disingenuous submissions, our journal requires a non-refundable $20 submission fee for scanning articles for potential plagiarism and detecting AI-generated text, as well as irrelevant content. The fee is waived for scientists in editorial or reviewer roles in this journal, or with established prior publication or collaboration records with our editorial board members.

Optional MCFNS Fast-Track Review fees: 400.00 (USD)
By opting for the Fast-Track Review option and paying a fee, you can accelerate the review process of your article. This option guarantees that the review, editorial decision, and author notification for your manuscript will be completed within 4 weeks. Additionally, dependable reviewers and editorial board members who frequently participate in Fast-Track Reviews are eligible for a 50% discount on these fees.

Article Publication fees: 400.00 (USD)
If this paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay an Article Publication Fee to cover the publication costs.

Invited publications do not require any publication fee. If you submit your manuscript in LaTeX, the publication fee can be waived for authors from economically disadvantaged countries and for individuals who are not currently employed by an institution that could cover the publication fees. Members of the MCFNS Editorial Board are eligible for a fee waiver for one publication per year and a 50% discount on any additional publication fees. Moreover, if you are unable to pay the fees for any reason, you can apply to have the publication fee waived at the time of submission. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that publication fees do not hinder the publication of deserving works.
